Welcome Yarramalong Homestead was established in August 1994. It is located in the foothills of the Gold Coast Hinterland, 15 minutes west of Surfers Paradise in Queensland. “Yarramalong” – which means “Horse” in the Aboriginal language, serves as the hub for the various enterprises encompassed by the Yarramalong Group. Yarramalong Investments, established in 1993, is the parent trading company involved with investment in real estate and the international share market.               Yarramalong Warmblood Stud, established in 2001, is focused on equestrian pursuits, training and the breeding of Warmblood horses for the dressage and show jumping competitors. Yarramalong Arabica Coffee, established in 1998, produces a boutique single bean coffee that is herbicide free, and also produces a special two bean coffee blend, as well as chocolate-coated coffee beans. Yarramalong Cattle, established in 1996, are bred on two separate properties. “Yandina” – which means “Small Watering Hole”, situated in Mount Mort is where Brahman cross cattle are bred while at “Tathra” – which means “A Beautiful Place”, in the Ropley area, we concentrate on breeding pure Charolais and Charolais/Brahman cross cattle. Yarramalong Investments purchased Central Produce in 1999. Central Produce caters for a wide range of produce needs for the local community, with a focus on equestrian supplies. Central Produce supplies to both the retail and wholesale sectors.
